Our experts offer a deep understanding of activated carbon, sorbent technologies, and regulatory compliance requirements to support optimized treatment solutions for the removal of contaminants, including PFAS. Birchtech provides expert analytical services and RSSCT evaluations for a variety of treatment media, including virgin and reactivated granular activated carbons (GACs), ion exchange resins, and multiple water matrices.

PFAS analyses are conducted using LC-MS/MS instrumentation and PFAS-controlled laboratory practices, following a direct injection approach based on U.S. EPA Method 8327.

RSSCT data is performance data, not compliance reporting, so it is not bound to a certified drinking water method. Our Design Center laboratory is separately equipped for the EPA compliance methods used in regulatory reporting: Methods 533 and 537.1 for drinking water, and Method 1633 for non-potable water and solids.
